In an adjoining building, there is a seminar room with seating for up to 20 people.
An adjoining modern bath is provided for exclusive use of the VIP bedroom.

The Sunny Hill property consists of over
30 acres of farm and forest
land, including a small spring-fed lake. A historic mill house on the property has been converted for use as a
modern bed & breakfast operation through the construction of four double
bedrooms on the second floor, each with private bath, plus a VIP bedroom
downstairs. 
Guests can relax in the comfortable living room to read daily newspapers or books, or watch
their favorite channel on the large TV. 
A large central fireplace provides a cozy focal point for evening
conversations. 
The VIP
bedroom features a king sized bed. Other comfortable furnishings include a sofa
and
reading chairs. 
Upstairs are four double bedrooms with single beds and other
furnishings including night tables, reading chairs, etc. Each room has a private
modern bathroom with a shower stall. 
A
continental breakfast
is served in the morning from 7:00 am until 10:00 am. The dining tables are
placed by the windows to
provide a view of the flowering gardens.
On
cool mornings, a fire is lit in the fireplace to provide a cozy setting for breakfast.
Guests
are welcome to use the cooker to heat up snacks, and to store their cold drinks
in the frig.
The principal attraction of
Sunny Hill is its extensive rock garden collection of flowering plants and
trees. Throughout the spring and summer, a diverse collection of perennial
flowers come into bloom, such that the gardens are a blaze of color throughout
the entire season.
In addition to the rock gardens,
a large part of the property is covered by
trees, shrubs, lawns and flower beds.
For
fishing enthusiasts, the lake is open to guests for trout and carp fishing.
A large part of the
30 acre
property consists of forest land and a birch grove by the lake, providing a
quiet area for leisurely walks. Hikers and bikers can venture further afield to Kuldiga and
surrounding areas.
